Commenting on Life with Melodies

M83 - Solitude ( Felsmann + Tiley Reinterpretation), Single

Super honoured to rework M83's Solitude, a fitting theme for these current times. We took the melancholy of his original and further intensified it by distilling it into a synthy reduction.

Grab it right by the feels and contemplate your inner canyon.

The Departure (Reinterpretation), Single

Over the next months, we’ll release a string of synth-only reinterpretations of tracks we love. The first reinterpretation is for Max Richter’s The Departure, the theme song of the TV show The Leftovers. It’s out today: Spotify

Our friends at DEF - Deutsch Englische Freundschaft have been ultra-supportive with our project and have helped us to get our hands on a few big names. We’re extremely excited for the next few releases - so watch this space.

April, Single

We're delighted to announce our second synth-only single April. Available now for your listening pleasure.

Stream or download here:

Compared to slow-paced and epic October, April is a bit more on the dancey side of things with a melancholic twist. We sneaked in synthesized kickdrum, which is technically in breach of our Manifesto but it had to be done for this song. It's kind of an hommage to our dance music roots.

Check back soon, there's another single in the pipeline for next month.

October, Single

October is the pioneering debut single from Frankfurt and London based composer duo Felsmann + Tiley.

Stream or download here:

The song, as well as further compositions in the pipeline, explores the grandeur of film scores, the simple beauty of contemporary piano compositions and the wide sound spectrum of electronic music.

“October” is a beautiful, timeless “synth-only” piece, stripping away all the percussive elements of electronic music. It is Felsmann + Tiley’s musical interpretation of an epic final battle, fought with pride and glory, all while being aware of the inevitably dramatic outcome.

The debut single marks the start of a string of releases to come over the next few months.
